Wynn Resorts said in its second-quarter 2026 results that Wynn Al Marjan Island is expected to open in September 2027. The project under construction in Ras Al Khaimah is planned as the UAE's first integrated resort. A target date is a company forecast rather than a guarantee, but it gives the industry a clearer timetable for one of the most closely watched new destination projects.
More than a gaming room
Wynn's project information lists 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants, lounges and bars, a theatre, beach club, spa, retail promenade and event spaces. The breadth of that programme is central to the integrated-resort model: accommodation, dining, entertainment and meetings give a property multiple reasons for a visitor to come and multiple ways to serve the surrounding tourism market.
The physical infrastructure is also substantial. Wynn reported progress on the Marjan Bay Bridge, intended to connect the island with the wider road network. Its construction update described a 548-metre link and a late-2026 completion target. Transport, staff accommodation and public access are as important to an opening as the tower itself.
What remains to be delivered
The resort has moved through visible construction milestones, including the tower topping out. The next phase depends on fit-out, testing, staffing and operational readiness. Wynn's August 2026 announcement on the resort's shoreline and pools adds detail to the guest offer, but individual amenities remain prospective until the project opens.
For observers, the main measures now are progress against the September 2027 target, the final mix of entertainment and hospitality uses, and how the finished resort connects to Ras Al Khaimah's wider visitor economy.
